Recent years have seen a steady rise in distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks in the IT sector.

DDoS attacks are notoriously sly and challenging to identify.

The difficulty in determining the source is one of the factors contributing to their slickness. To carry out a DDoS attack, threat actors typically use three main strategies: spoofing, reflection, and amplification. We will move on to discussing these phases, and how they affect those they attack, in future posts.

So is it possible to create an un-guessable password?

The answer is - yes, and no. You can create a password that most humans will be unable to guess, but there is nothing you can put on the internet that some computer system can't, eventually, crack.

The truth is that both systems have their advantages and disadvantages, which may influence your choice of platform.
The choice of which platform a user finds more comfortable ultimately comes down to personal preference.

The most important thing to remember is that the security level will vary depending on which version of Windows or macOS your system is running. Systems that have been updated always perform better than those that have not.

These steps include educating your team against risks and potential attack vectors, securing and updating your software, ensuring that your Cloud data is also protected, and constantly backing up your data.

Now while these steps can't ensure you won't be hacked (nothing can guarantee 100% against an attack), they should at least help mitigate the eventuality that hackers will see you as vulnerable prey.
