Joann shared her personal story of being diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and the importance of supporting others who are facing the same fight. Her story is also helping raise awareness for Ignite the FIGHT, a community-driven campaign dedicated to supporting local breast cancer fighters and survivors while raising awareness and funds in the Coastal Bend.

Another project taking shape in Addison, Texas!

Our NCS team is working at Starr Insurance to enhance the technology inside their café space. The installation includes multiple microphones, cameras, and displays designed to create a more connected and versatile environment for meetings, presentations, and collaboration.

Our team is hitting the books! 📚

Members of our estimating team are preparing for the BICSI RCDD exam, one of the industry’s most respected credentials for ICT infrastructure design.

Earning the Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification is no small task. It requires mastering the Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (TDMM), meeting BICSI’s experience requirements, and developing a strong understanding of the technical principles behind telecommunications infrastructure design.

A big shoutout to our team for taking on the challenge. Investing in our people means strengthening the expertise we bring to every project and delivering even greater value to our clients.

📚🎒 The NCS Backpack Drive is celebrating its 12th year, and it's still one of our favorite traditions.

Each year we provide backpacks and school supplies to the children of our employees in Pre-K through 12th grade.

Supporting our team extends beyond the workplace. Helping families prepare for a new school year is one small way we can say thank you for everything our employees do throughout the year.

We loved seeing everyone pick up their backpacks, and we wish all of our students a successful school year filled with learning, new friendships, and exciting opportunities. Have a great year!

Join us in congratulating David Fore, RCDD, DCDC, Structured Cabling Estimating Manager, on earning his BICSI Data Center Design Consultant certification. 👏

The DCDC recognizes professionals who can design, coordinate, and manage complex data center projects to global codes and standards. Earning it required advanced training across the core disciplines of data center design:

• Electrical systems
• HVAC systems
• Telecommunications cabling
• Automation and control systems

When asked about the certification, David shared:

"Earning the DCDC certification was a great opportunity to expand my knowledge of data center design and best practices. As data centers continue to evolve, I'm excited to apply what I've learned to help our clients build reliable, scalable infrastructure."

Extron opened up their Las Vegas showroom to us at InfoComm Show 2026 and we brought the cameras. This is the first video in our Booth Tour & Interview Series, and with hands-on demonstrations of some of Extron's latest products, there is a lot to cover.

Nick LaCommare, Manager of Product Marketing, walked us through three stations built around real-world scenarios, covering the UCS 504, the MGP 641 xi 5K, and the DTP3 Crosspoint 42. Each product tackles a different challenge modern AV spaces face, from bring-your-own-meeting flexibility to multi-window processing and unified device switching.

Wilmer's police officers and public works crews will soon have facilities built for a city that's growing fast. The new Police Department and Public Works buildings, now nearing completion, will give City of Wilmer an expanded dispatch center, detention areas, training rooms, and dedicated workshops, replacing the shared office space the departments operated from before.

NCS is serving as the technology integrator, working alongside Steele & Freeman, Inc. to deliver:

Structured cabling, with 470+ Cat 6A runs and a fiber backbone connecting both facilities
Audiovisual, including nearly 30 displays for training, briefing, and conference spaces
Security, with 70+ cameras and 50+ access control devices installed across both buildings
