Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Waiting isn’t God’s saying “No.” It’s God saying, “I’m not just preparing you—I’m preparing you for what’s promised.” Never mistake waiting for wasting. Being in between prayers and promises is where God builds what no shortcut could ever build overnight.

Psalm 27:14 — the Bible says it like this, "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."

HEY FAM! QUICK UPDATE… Thanks to all who responded to my post about my new friend needing a church home. We were overwhelmed by your expressions.

Well, I promised I’d follow up…and I did. And where did we meet? At the gas station, of course. 😂☕️

I shared your invitations and messages with her, and she was gleeful and grateful.

Now, let’s clarify why I asked my network for help. Even as a lead pastor, I never assumed the church I pastored was the best fit for everybody. Every church has a calling, culture, community, and capacity. Every person has a story, struggle, season, and unique spiritual needs.

Some churches reach seniors better. Others connect with young adults, singles, children, or young men. Some people need traditional worship; others need contemporary. Large church. Small church. Young pastor. Seasoned pastor. Strong groups.

My responsibility has never been simply to fill pews. It’s to allow God to use me to help others find their place and follow Christ. So, I must trust the Holy Spirit the entire way.

So, if you recommended a church or ministry and if you’re on the west side of Indy, inbox me. She wants to connect on TikTok, meet young folks, worship (on the west side off of Lafayette Rd), find community, and most importantly, grow closer to God.

So pray for her. Pray for others quietly searching like her. And pray for me as I continue allowing God to use me to point people toward Christ, community, connection, and discipleship.

Because sometimes ministry isn’t getting people to come where you are. Sometimes it’s loving them enough to help them get where God wants them to be.
