Shira designed this logo, which highlights the love-focused approach of Suzuki music education. (This event is organized by Ithaca Talent Education where our son has been studying cello for the last few years.)

The deadline is fast-approaching! Register by Monday June 1st to be part of the Ithaca Virtual Suzuki Experience, July 6-10. For early book I through advanced violin, viola, and cello Suzuki students. Master classes and groups with our world-renowned faculty, technique classes, improvisation, composition, Dalcroze, Suzuki yoga, fiddling, performance opportunities, and our very special guest artists Nick Kendall, Yumi Kendall, and Katie Lansdale.

This year, Southside Community Center has created two amazing months of programming to celebrate Black Women's History - February and March. Here is the poster for all of the programs as well as the poster for the next event coming up on February 18th, which is the shared birthday of Toni Morrison and Audre Lorde. Shira Golding Evergreen is super excited to contribute graphic design to this innovative and vital programming.

We are excited to share this opportunity for artists to contribute to the meaningful beautification of our streets. For almost two years, Shira has been working on a feature-length documentary about Ithaca's active mural scene, which includes many pieces with social and environmental justice messages. Ithaca Murals is going to distribute another round of "Justice Walls" mini grants and proposals are due on February 20th. See details below! If you receive a grant and paint a piece, there's also a chance Shira will come and film the process and interview you for the documentary. Please share widely and consider applying as an individual or with collaborators!
