There were close to 3,000 devices that used our Free WiFi network at the Rock County 4-H Fair last week. We hope that it helped all the vendors drum up more business or at least provide a chuckle or two watching a cat video on YouTube during a slow time...

If you want to see an even faster and expanded network at next years fair please contact the fair office and tell them you loved the free WiFi provided by the Janesville WiFi project!

Almost 2,000 devices have used the temporary WiFi at the Rock County 4-H Fair in the last 3 days. Looks like we have to plan for even more bandwidth next year as we are a maxing out at peak times. Hopefully we can work with fairground organizers next year to provide even more coverage.

Since the Rock County 4-H Fair opened this morning there have been almost 300 people on the WiFi...if you build Free WiFi...they will come...

We will be setting up some temporary FREE WiFi at the Rock County 4-H Fair again this year! Just our way of saying thanks and to get the word out about the project.

The temporary WiFi access points have been installed prior to the start of the Janesville Farmers Market, Inc this weekend. This will cover some but not all of the market and the network will only be available during the markets hours.

Thanks again to the City of Janesville for allowing us to house equipment in one of their buildings for a few months.

As many of you know the Janesville Farmers Market, Inc will be moving to Wall St. this year to accommodate road construction on Main St. For this we will be setting up some temporary WiFi access to cover about 3/4 of the farmers market on Saturdays. Just look for the "Janesville WiFi" network you all know and love!

(PS: A big thanks goes out to the City of Janesville and their IT staff for allowing us to temporarily house our equipment in one of their buildings)
