It’s been a year since this interview, and re-reading it feels like a snapshot of all the things I was dreaming up: painting pups, illustrating picture books, and inspiring little readers as a librarian. It reminds me just how much of my creative journey is rooted in heart and how that heart still lights the way. It’s exciting to see how far I’ve come and how much I’ve been working toward the things I talked about then. Here's to another year of more dogs, more ideas, and more readers!
