I spent 20 years in the Army. I am an Engineer Officer.

Three deployments. One deployed with Special Forces. I also spent time advising Saudi generals on how to build systems that don’t fall apart when everything is on the line.

Here’s what that actually taught me about AI:

Most people treat AI like a smarter intern. They prompt it, get an answer, and move on.

That works until it doesn’t.

In high-stakes environments, you don’t win with better prompts. You win with systems that:

• Know what matters before you ask
• Catch the thing that’s about to break
• Keep running when comms are degraded or the plan changes

That’s why I built the AI Chief of Staff the way I did.

Not as a chatbot.
