Finding your audience is a key way to learn more about who you are as a business. The more you understand your audience, the more you'll understand yourself.

The right audience isn’t always the biggest one. Sometimes, it’s the people who naturally connect with the way you think, the work you do, and the problems you care about solving.

So instead of asking, “How do I get more customers?” try asking:

Who do I genuinely enjoy helping?
What do they care about?
What words do they use to describe what they need?
What makes our work together feel meaningful?

Listen to your clients. Pay attention to the conversations you keep having. Notice who gets excited about your work and who you find yourself excited to work with. Because when you understand your audience authentically, your brand doesn’t have to pretend to be everything to everyone.

Most people come to us thinking they need a logo.

They leave realizing they needed language — a way to finally say what they've always known about their business but couldn't quite put into words.

That's what a brand strategy session actually is.

It's a conversation where we slow down long enough to find the real thing.

We ask questions like:
→ What do you want people to feel when they find you?
→ What are you tired of explaining?
→ What's always been true about your work that no one seems to see yet?

The answers shape everything that comes after: the design, the copy, the way you show up.

A few months ago, I asked my 8 year old, "What do you think I do for work?"

Without missing a beat, he said,

You laugh and talk to your friends. 😂

I've thought about that answer a lot since then.

From his perspective, that's exactly what I do. I spend my days listening to passionate business owners, asking thoughtful questions, sharing ideas, solving problems, and yes... there is a lot of smiling and laughing along the way.

In those conversations, overwhelm becomes clarity, decisions become stronger, and my "friends" leave feeling more confident about what they're building.

Honestly, I can't think of a better job.
