Happy four year wedding anniversary to us!♡ He’s simply my favorite. My favorite pair of eyes to look into. My favorite name to see appear in my phone. My favorite way to spend an afternoon. My favorite everything. Even though our love story isn’t conventional, it’s undeniably beautiful to me, infused with redemption and perfect grace.
I’m so deeply grateful for every chapter that led me to him, for the restoration of what once felt like loss, and for all the chapters that we’re continuing to write, in our language of unconditional love. I feel blessed to know it, cultivate it, be challenged by it, and flourish in it. And it’s because of him. My Yelisey. ♡

Happy 36th birthday to the dearest person in my life, my husband. I met him when he was 30, and although this photo is many years before I knew him, I just love it so much. I look at it and I know that even then God was threading our paths towards each other, conspiring on our behalf, for our good and His glory. God’s faithfulness so undeniably evident to me.
, if I could I would shout it from the roof tops (but you’d hate that🙈) how thankful I am for the ways you’ve displayed the redemptive goodness of God in my life. You’ve pushed me to look at things with bigger perspective, exemplified a calm wisdom that is so hard to find in most and you’ve loved me in a way that has given me wings. All I hope to do, birthday after birthday, is to wrap those wings around you and our kids, and all of your hopes and dreams. On your toughest days, may you never doubt that the love I receive from God and from this life that I’ve been given flows back to you. Happy birthday sweetheart.
