The -HQ version of our IntuiSwitch controls feature simple wiring for use with boards like the RR-CirKits Tower-LCC and Signal-LCC. Hookup is via a single three-wire cable. The switch input and LED status output can share a single Tower or Signal LCC I/O line in sample mode.

RR-CirKits' Breakout Quik-Link boards make wiring our IntuiSwitch-HQ controls to the Signal LCC or Tower LCC as easy as plugging in a three-wire cable (included with the IntuiSwitch-HQ). But the Breakout Quik-Link has quite a few exposed contacts. So our tech designer, Brad, has come up with an enclosure to protect the exposed contacts of the Breakout Quik-Link. It is 3D printable. You can download the instructions and the 3D files to print from free on our website. www.intuiswitch.com/qr/bbql_shell.html

Are you using or thinking about using LCC (Layout Command Control) on your layout? If so, our new -HQ version of IntuiSwitch controls are just the thing for you. With their simple three-wire cable, these new IntuiSwitch controls can plug directly in to corresponding three-pin headers on the QL Breakout boards of RR-CirKits ecosystem of LCC-capable boards. Despite the electrical differences, these new IntuiSwitch controls retain the same look and feel as our standard models. This lets you seamlessly mix networked and non-networked turnouts on your layout.

The new version is in stock in both Classic and D-IntuiSwitch styles.

Our Classic IntuiSwitch™ in action. Pressing the lighted blue click-dome drives the turnout to the opposite position, which the IntuiSwitch™ also displays. When the IntuiSwitch™ is used with stall motors like the Circuitron Tortoise™, the model turnout actually moves slower than in this abbreviated animation - like real-life railroads.

Ever wish you could control one turnout from two different locations on your layout? We have a solution for you!

IntuiSwitch™ controls ordered with the paired option can synchronize with each other, allowing you to throw the same turnout from either location, while both locations show the current turnout status.

This is great for situations like a peninsula on the layout, as shown in the diagram.

Our new D-IntuiSwitch™ controls make building a control panel for your layout easy. They offer the same tactile interface, visual feedback, and ease of wiring as our classic IntuiSwitch™ controls, but in a compact, flush-mount package. Installation is easy - drill one hole, insert the control, align with your panel artwork, then press down to seal the adhesive. On the back side of the panel, plug the cable into the supplied self-adhesive breakout board. Connect two wires from your power supply and two wires to your turnout motor to the screw terminals on the breakout board - no soldering required. You are done!

A custom panel we created for a double slip switch. This is our "Lit Route" style panel, where you select paths by pushing the button next to the appropriate path. When you push the button, the appropriate turnout motors are activated for that path, and the path is illuminated on the display.
