The FREE upgrade to Windows 10 ends at the end of this month. Unless you are planning to buy a new PC soon I would suggest you go ahead and install it now. If you are afraid to do it alone I can do it for you.

"Windows 9" is in the works and I am told that the classic start menu is back! No more Metro block head screen as the "future of computing on every device"! Yeehaw!

Meanwhile if you have a Windows 8 pc and want to make it easier to use and more like XP or 7 let me have it for a couple days. I will kick it's butt and make it behave!

Sold, setup, delivered, and installed a new Acer pc with Windows 8.1 last night. 8.1 is actually usable if you boot direct to the desktop and install Classic Shell so that you have a "normal" start menu like XP and Windows 7. If you are thinking about a new pc let me help identify what you need and maybe save some $$$ in the process!
