Project Spotlight - New website launch for Firehole Outdoors.

One of the first items on the list for rebranding Firehole Outdoors was a new website. Moving to the Shopify ecosystem from the existing Wordpress site for both DTC and B2B was an easy choice. Our team had to design the new site in a way that showcased the almost 700 SKUs in an easy-to-shop manner, as well as organize and optimize the backend. It’s going to be 60 degrees this week. In early February. In Montana. While we all wish it was snowing and acting like a real winter here, the warm afternoon do make you think about sitting in a drift boat in shorts, throwing dry flies to hungry trout. Client Spotlight: Firehole Outdoors

We were contracted by the new owner of Firehole Outdoors this fall to help breathe new life into this brand with a new website and full marketing strategy and management. If you’re not familiar, Firehole makes some of the best fly tying hooks and beads out there. We’re very excited to be part of this brand revival, and look forward to what 2026 will bring.

Broken and damaged fly lines are no longer a problem with RestorLine - a Bozeman-based company focused on “Material Science Innovation For Fly Fishing”. Quickly, cleanly, and easily fix broken loops, nicks, cuts, and other damage, even lines broken entirely in half. Their products aren’t a patch, they’re an actual fix.

We’re very excited to be working with these folks and are looking forward to what 2026 has in store for the company. Give them a follow if you haven’t already!

Well, we made it to the end of 2025, I’d say that calls for a beer. It was a hell of a year, and one of the better ones we’ve had on a lot of levels. More challenges, more problems to solve, more on our plate than ever before. We wouldn’t have it any other way. Cheers to 2026!

I’m always glad when the Winter Solstice rolls around. The days start getting longer, and we can shift into full on “winter mode” for a bit. Time to hunker down, get stuff done, get ready for the year ahead, and hopefully make it out on the water for a few short winter fishing days. Photos from a day long past with and . This past two months have been so stupid busy, we’ve barely had a moment to breathe. While we’re very grateful for our clients and those who have trusted us with their business and work, we’re also so thankful for the times when we can unplug and enjoy the best of what Montana has to offer. Recently, a walk in the woods with an old friend yielded a chance at a bull elk - something I’ve been chasing in the mountains for 11 years. Three well placed shots later, this was the end result. There's a lot more to say, but that's for another time.

Cheers to all those who are chasing game in the wild, spending the hours and days and weeks pursuing game in these places that we love so much.

The fly fishing industry has been a professional home for me for over 15 years. While my business has diversified over the years, fly fishing keeps drawing me back in. Being able to work in a space that people are so passionate about and love so much brings a deeper layer of fulfillment to the work. At the end of the day this is what it’s all about - big fish, cold water, late nights, good friends, and special places.
