That’s what our CEO, .chanani, shared this weekend at the Annual Graduation at , where he joined a fireside chat as a Riordan Programs alumnus.

Riordan prepares the next gen. of leaders through mentorship, education, and community service, supporting students and young professionals who have overcome real barriers along the way.

The room was full of people at inflection points. High school students. College students. Recent grads. All figuring out what comes next.

Alok’s message was to do work that serves people, solve real problems, and be the person who gets it done.

That belief is core to BuildOps. We built this company for the tradespeople who keep this country running.

This one felt bigger than a speaking event.

This past week, Alok returned to UCLA to speak at the Riordan Programs graduation ceremony, coming back as an alumnus to invest in the next generation.

Riordan helps students and young professionals build toward what’s next through mentorship, education, and community.

The room was full of people at real turning points in life. And what made the moment hit was the reminder that meaningful work can come from service, resilience, and solving real problems that matter.

That’s a big part of why this meant so much to us.

We’re proud to serve the tradespeople building and maintaining the places our communities depend on every day, and proud of moments that remind the next generation what’s possible.
