Our Pro Film Carrier 8x10 can be the focal point of your film scanning station. This system is compatible with our various Single Frame ANR Masks designed for the 8x10 holder as well as the Single Frame ANR Masks for our Pro Film Carrier 4x5 with an optional adapter. That means the Pro Film Carrier 8x10 can scan nearly any format from 35mm single frames, strips and rolls all the way up to 8x10 sheets with superior flatness.

The introduction of our Pro Film Carrier 8x10 has allowed us to finally begin working through a 1,000+ negative backlog in our archive.  Frustrated with previous 8x10 film scanning options, we channeled this energy towards designing a revolutionary new system that ensures sharp, fast, and easy scanning of this much loved format.

This portrait was made behind the Negative Supply HQ in early 2025, and wasn’t scanned until our new carrier was ready.  Drum scans are too expensive and slow, flatbed scanners do NOT hold film flat, and previous solutions for scanning 8x10 with a camera often had tremendous light bleed or didn’t guarantee 100% of the border.

Our new system gives sharp results, excellent light evenness, and gives 100% of the border.  The look we know and love as large format photographers is preserved with this new scanning system.  Available for pre-order now!
