Ok people, help me out here…

The powers in my industry are really pushing us to use AI assistants — answering phones, taking messages, customer service, etc.

I’m honestly not sure that’s something I want to do. I still like the personal aspect of having a real person talk to another real person.

Am I just being “old school”?

Would YOU rather talk to an AI rep or an actual person when you call a business?

Just another day at the shop.

A customer brought in a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 saying it no longer gets cell service. We checked it in and began troubleshooting.

As soon as I removed the back cover, the issue was obvious—someone had previously worked on the phone and removed all of the internal antennas.

No antennas = no signal. That’s exactly why the phone wasn’t working.

Moral of the story: not all repairs are done right the first time. If your phone suddenly loses service, it’s not always the carrier—it could be what’s inside.
