Thank you for another beautiful year in the books. Growth looks good on all of us and without all of us, we wouldn’t be able to grow. Thank you to all who stopped to chat, squish yarns and talk fiber at my booth.

🧶 Saturday I released my fan girl on Samantha and test drove a which has been in my mind since then - we must do more fiber things together soon. 🧵 To my rad friends Kim with Liz of Pilar with for your support, love and kindness by just being themselves and opening up to one other like a sisterhood in this fiber community we each love so much.

🐑 Without the help of Jada and Lance and the for hosting and putting on this event, I wouldn’t had the chance to find my flock. This wonderful couple care deeply about this event so much, sharing it with us makes me feel incredibly grateful. Thank you!

👭Last but not least to my incredible sister, Ashley for being my ‘rock’star. You shine brighter and brighter each day. I love you with all my heart.

I’ll be vending at Fiber Flurry Saturday, November 2nd in Leonardville, KS. There will be classes, a fashion show and plenty of room for you to hang out all day with your current WIP and enjoy the surroundings of fiber arts. Located in the Sikes Venue from 9-4. 🧶🧵🐑

Sharing my love for spinning at Manhattan’s new yarn store. Kim had me in for Third Thursdays with her weekly fiber art meet up and it was such a joyful time. We all shared our makes, WIPs and shared laughs while helping each other on patterns and talking yarn. This is just want this community needs and Kim at River Heights Yarn Co is making that happen. Forever grateful for this safe space that brings makers and fiber folks together in downtown Manhattan, Kansas. 🌈🐑🧶💗

River Heights Yarn Co is opening next Saturday!

I met Kim about a year ago on a coffee date with our latest WIPs and she told me about all the pop ups she’s been doing and how lovely it would be to have her very own local yarn shop. A few months later here she is, kicking ass and following her dreams. She signed a lease and she will soon be open for business!

When Kim asked me if I’d like to sell my handspun yarns in her shop, my heart fluttered with excitement. Having a local yarn shop that supports my yarn making process is a beautiful feeling to have, and it’s a business this community needs. I’m so proud of you, Kim!

Stop in Saturday, August 31st. River Heights Yarn Co. is located right across the street from The Chef at 114 S. 4th Street, Manhattan, KS. Bring a WIP there will be places to sit and knit and chat your local yarn enthusiasts.

As a studio assistant at Uncorked Inspiration, I get the wonderful opportunity to underglaze ceramics in my free time. We have a bunch of ceramic eggs.. and of course, I brought some home to underglaze. This little egg-o is currently in the kiln, with hopes it pops out today!

Very much in love with chunky yarn. I just dyed this and couldn’t wait to share it. This is 100% wool purchased from a local stash,I hand dyed one hank with acid dyes for experimenting purposes. Looks amazing photographed on top of the placemat I wove up late last year - one of my first floor loom projects. 🌈🧶💗
