I am looking for old/broken cell phones to practice repairs on!

If you have an older phone sitting in a drawer collecting dust; cracked screen, bad charging port, won’t turn on, etc. -- I’d love to take it off your hands.

I’m looking to sharpen my repair skills by practicing screen replacements, charging ports, batteries, and other common fixes. Androids and iPhones are welcome!

Rather than throwing them away, let me give them a second life (or at least learn something from them)

This is a great opportunity to clear out old electronics and unused tech around the house.

Before you recycle something though — it might still be repairable, upgrade-able, or useful to someone else.

Old laptops can often be sped up, consoles repaired, and PCs upgraded for much less than replacing them.

If you’re unsure whether something is worth saving, feel free to message me first. I’m always happy to take a look!

This Xbox Elite controller got a second life today!

It came in needing a joystick repair and the grips were peeling off. We fixed the stick and replaced the whole shell.

A lot of people assume a bad stick means buying a whole new controller, but many times they can be repaired for much less.

Stick drift, broken bumpers, bad buttons, charging issues, shell swaps, deep cleaning — a lot of controllers are worth saving.

Kinda satisfying seeing these come back together.

Screen protectors can be weirdly difficult to install perfectly 😅

Dust, bubbles, crooked alignment… it happens fast.

If you ever want help installing one on your phone, tablet, Switch, Steam Deck, or other device, I can help with that too. I can also remove old cracked protectors and properly clean the screen before installation.
