Summer is definitely in full swing over here ☀️😅

This morning I worked, had a cute visitor 🐾, got the boys where they needed to be, and somewhere in between all of that, I did something I haven't done in a while... I hit the DND button.

I redeemed a gift card from my longtime massage therapist friend Amanda Triplett, LMT, AWC, and what I experienced today wasn't “traditional” massage. It was a full on parasympathetic reset.

Two hours of disconnecting, craniosacral work, deep breathing and simply allowing my body to receive. No rushing. No multitasking. No solving problems. Just me snoring 😴

This season of my life may not always be balanced, but I can be intentional. Intentional about showing up for my family, my work and occasionally giving myself permission to unplug and refill my own cup.

Today was one of those days, and I'm grateful for it 🤍

Ive been on a social hiatus lately, sorry it's not because I've disappeared… It was MAYCEMBER 😅

I'm in a season where I'm building something and raising someone at the same time.

For a long time, I chased the idea of "work-life balance." What I'm learning instead is that sometimes life isn't balanced, it's about being present with what's in front of you.

Some days that looks like serving my clients well. Some days it looks like showing up for my family. And some days, if it looks like I'm absolutely crushing it in one area, just know the circus has probably run completely amok somewhere else 😂 But I'm grateful.

As much as Bliss Bodyworks Day Spa is about massage, wellness and reset, it's also about honoring the season you're in and giving yourself permission to be fully there.

Thank you for your patience, your support. And ya’ll… a few of my babies have graduated 🤍🎓
