We put the final touches on the ceiling mural at Watoga State Park! These life-size silhouettes of a bald eagle and a raven give visitors a great way to identify the birds soaring high in the sky.

The first phase of nature center exhibits are underway at Watoga State Park! Here’s the ceiling mural coming to life, from the dark night sky to the blue skies of daylight. A big thanks to Tessa Wells (Asset Art) for helping us out on the details, including the Milky Way.

We enjoyed a beautiful sunset last night on the Blackwater Canyon and a stunning sunrise this morning at Lindy Point. Lucky us to get to take in these beautiful places!

Exhibit work has begun at Watoga State Park’s Nature Center! We started prep work on the ceiling mural, but we also took advantage of the nice weather to get outside.
