For those just joining, hey there! I’m McKenna (or Ken Wood), the founder and creative director behind Ken Wood Designs. From a young age, I’ve always loved to create and make some inevitable messes along the way (see picture 2 for proof). Since 2016, I’ve been designing for some amazing clients. Clients that were once just family and friends, are now friends of friends, agencies and businesses who found me online! For the past 7 years, I’ve worked within a wide range of spaces - higher ed, hospitality, healthcare, politics, advocacy, brands, etc. I’ve worked at marketing, communications and advertising agencies, non-profits profits, small businesses and now for myself!

Since March, I’ve been pursing Ken Wood Designs full time, a dream I’ve had since I can remember. It’s been a wild ride, and while not always easy, it’s been the most fulfilling journey of self-discovery, both as a designer and a human. And to my design community — especially my family — thank you for the inspiration, advice, and the encouragement to pursue something I love.
