When we design a logo, we don’t always know the story behind it.
This was pretty cool to see posted today. The Ramirez Team at Harbco Realty are wonderful people to work with.
Fun Fact about our Logo
People often ask, “Why the dragonfly?”
The dragonfly in our logo isn’t just a design choice. It represents a very special season in our lives. A season of faith, change, courage, and trusting God with what we couldn’t see.
Years ago, when Albert and I were praying about me leaving retail and making the move into real estate, it felt like a HUGE leap of faith.
I was walking away from a guaranteed paycheck every week and stepping into a career that is 100% commission. No guaranteed check. No knowing when the next closing would come. Just a whole lot of faith.
During that time, we found the biggest dragonfly I had ever seen.. inside our laundry room of all places! 😂 We had no idea how it even got in there, and something about that moment stuck with us.
The dragonfly has long been associated with transformation, new beginnings, growth, and moving forward. For us, it became a personal reminder of the season we were in and the change we were praying through.
After lots of prayer, seeking counsel, and trusting God to guide our steps, we took the leap.
And I am SO glad we did.
Now, don’t let me make this story sound too pretty. 😂 I’ve quit. He’s quit. I’ve fired him. He’s fired me. 🤣. Albert has told me I’m one of the most difficult “employees” he’s ever had to train and develop because I don’t listen to him.
I’m not really sure what else he’s said about it… I wasn’t paying attention. 🤣🤣
Somehow, through all the quitting, firing, not listening, deals falling apart, long days, uncertainty, and figuring out how to work together without killing each other… we kept going!
And through every season, God has continued to provide, open doors, teach us, grow us, and remind us why we took that leap in the first place.
It hasn’t been easy, but it has been so worth it!
So when you see the dragonfly in The Ramirez Team logo, know that it means something to us.
It reminds us where we started.
It reminds us that growth often requires change.
It reminds us that faith sometimes means stepping out before you can see exactly where you’re going.
And most of all, it reminds us to walk by faith. 🤍
That huge dragonfly that somehow ended up in our laundry room during one of the biggest decisions of our lives became part of our story and eventually, part of our logo.
Funny how God can use the smallest things to remind you He’s leading the way.
And as far as the purple goes… there’s no deep spiritual story behind that one.
Purple is just my favorite color! 💜🤍💜🤍
