I want to start this post with a thank you to each and every one of you ✨ The amount of support and interest in my work is amazing! THANK YOU! ❤️

This weekend was absolutely crazy! To think that .malo and saw my design concept and posted it on their respected pages is so surreal to me. Big thank you to them as well, because they really provided me with this “big break” moment.

Lastly, I appreciate every message you guys send! It was a busy weekend for me and all of this caught me very off guard, so if I haven’t read your message I’ll definitely get to it as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding!

🇺🇸 This mock-up was for and .malo Luisito sent a creative challenge that someone could make a juice box cover for his tamarind flavor tequila 🧃This is the design layout I came up with :)

🇲🇽 Este modelo fue echo para y .malo Luisito mandó el reto creativo para hacer una caja de jugo para su tequila de tamarindo 🧃 Este fue el diseño que yo hice :)

Side note: I hope Gran Malo comes to the US soon 😏

Portfolio building! 💼

Recently I’ve been working on my portfolio again, and I’ve learned that it’s a very difficult thing to get right 😱

I’ve done about 3-4 different iterations of my website with little to no signs of improvement or happiness from the results 😔

I took a step back and slowed down, looked at where I was making mistakes, what I could add or remove, and I can finally say that I am loving the direction my portfolio is taking! 😍

By no means was it easy or as simple as uploading my work onto a website 👨‍💻 A lot of trial and error went to learn that your website is part of your portfolio too! 🤯

Definitely have a long way to go before it’s finished, but I’m happy with the small improvements and knowledge that I’ve acquired :)

Happy Wednesday everyone! ✨

Today is my 100 post on the page! 🎉 I didn’t know how I wanted to mark this milestone, but I figured I could reintroduce myself 😊

My name is Eros, and I am a graphic designer from the Monterey Bay 🌊 I graduated from CSU Monterey Bay in 2019 with a BS in Computer Science, but I found that to be something I wasn’t too happy doing 😔

Shortly after graduating I started self teaching myself graphic design👨‍💻 I went back to CSUMB for some formal education on graphic design. Along the way I got some amazing opportunities to grow as a graphic designer, such as making logos for friends.

Now after a 2 year journey, a worldwide pandemic, and lots of projects later, I can confidently say I am a graphic designer 😄

I truly love what I do now and enjoy every creative moment that comes with it 🎨

I was asked last week to create this logo for my clients business. They wanted to mix the letter “S” with a 🎷 I loved the concept and the business! It was full music and different kind of arts, I just had to be a part of it! 🙌

This was my approach to their concept. I wanted to use negative space to create the “S” and the saxophone. I experimented with different shapes, strokes, and typefaces to see other options [Swipe to see]

Happy Friday everyone! ✨

It’s been a busy week for me! 😱 Have you stayed busy this week too? 🤔

I was commissioned early this week to make a logo for someone 👨‍💻 I absolutely loved the project as it involved music and different kind of arts 🎶

Here is a little sneak peak of my sketches and concept my client wanted of an “S” with a 🎷 I wanted to use negative space to my advantage and make the saxophone shape be filled in by the eye 👁

The final logo was completed a few days ago, but I thought I’d share a little bit of what I was working on with you all 😉
