10 years in Music City —
countless jobs. several business ventures. brunches, happy hours, late nights out. being backstage, side stage or behind the scenes of events + projects I only dreamt of being a part of. finding + losing love, losing myself, finding + rediscovering a new version of me. deep rooted friendships with women who don’t let me play small, who push me to do more + be more than I sometimes feel worthy of. learning that I’m worthy. celebrating friends as they hit milestones, trading stories with a town full of creatives trying to navigate our own unique career paths, finding how interconnected this big small town is + grateful to be a part of it all. Nashville’s been home for 10 years today, I feel like the luckiest gal in the world for all the memories - and the many, many more to come✨

90 D A Y Z 💪🏼
As of yesterday, I worked out for 90 days straight!
-
It included a lot of workouts, mixed in with miles of walking my neighborhood, one 8+ mile hike with , & I only stepped into a gym once. The only requirement each day was to complete my exercise ring on my watch

I did it for me and only me, after years of putting others first - realizing the intense emotional and physical toll it was taking. For the last 3 months, I wrote ‘I keep promises to myself’ in my journal. Without fail, I did the work. 🏋🏼‍♀️ I’m learning that you’ve gotta fight for the person you want to be and you’ve gotta take care of yourself first. I am PROUD + celebrating!

How am I celebrating today, you ask? By taking today off from working out. But I’ll be back on it tomorrow, because it’s a part of me now. Woo! Change feels good. 🤩

I also listened to ’s jingle on repeat one billion times while making it — I’m STILL not over her music magic. her talent is unreal.💛

flash back to last summer✨ - at the time i felt like i had multiple personalities. i was a maker (for ) but i was also a wardrobe stylist. i was designing merch & making handmade products. i could design websites + i’ve got a photoshop addiction- on top of being a DIY enthusiast & helping people find a good bargain. all creative roles, but hard to explain to someone all at once!

after a vent session with my gal pal , Amanda Creates became my outlet of all things creative.🌈 on the biz end, I love helping brands + biz owners tell their stories through visual content. I’m inspired by thoughtful imaging & the little details. i focus on branding + web design, socials + visual strategy, wardrobe styling + creative direction. beyond the biz, I wanna share my story, my favorite things & my travels on the blog.
