A closer look at these striped menus... Been loving a scripty-font that toes the line between structured & handwritten, like Grandpa's effortless pointed pen handwriting. Paired here with petite touches of ornament for a subtle old-world vibe. Perhaps Amelia and Parker have a greyhound named Henry and do summers in Europe.

*Finally* got to use this pair of swans for a moody liner in this dramatic suite; we love swan as timeless symbols of devotion. We tapped into a dark-feminine energy for the rest of the details…like deckled edges, gold wax, and an old-school serif rounds it out.

🌹The art of a romantic table... deep red blooms, from lacquered scarlet to velvety oxblood, are layered with delicate place settings. To heighten the drama, we added created turquoise vellum place cards for a painterly, moody touch. Paired with organic deckled-edged handmade paper menus for an intimate dinner atmosphere.

I've been feeling that we're entering a 'new era' of monograms, with graphic marks that feel more intentionally branded, often draw from a more pure typographic + geometric approach, and prioritizes flexible use across paper + other touch points. This is refreshing and exciting for me, as for a long time the monogram market has felt saturated with very traditional "monogram font" styles that can be decorative, have a very restrictive composition for the letters, and tbh can feel tied to a certain place and culture, which make them not the most inclusive ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ While those designs are still beautiful and I think are right fit for some, I for one am excited to see more modern monogram approaches. These often still draw from vintage references and thus will still feel timeless, but the range of reference is wider, with more varied cultural/industry sources, making overall more interesting pieces. But that's just my opinion 💭
