We’re thrilled to share the successful launch of the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Free Speech Alliance (Penn AFSA), a passionate new group dedicated to championing free speech principles at our beloved alma mater.

Starting from scratch, Penn AFSA, with strategic support from Leap, orchestrated a phenomenal kick-off webinar that drew over 100 registrations, with more than 60 alumni engaging live! This milestone event not only sparked vibrant discussions but also secured initial funding to fuel our mission.

How did we achieve this? By tapping into the power of community and shared values! We reached out to Penn alumni who cherish free speech, inviting them to reconnect and co-create a movement that resonates deeply with our university’s ethos.

Have urgency in your ask.

We can't afford to wait for good intentions to turn into actions. That’s why Kevin Gentry emphasizes, “The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

In fundraising, urgency is key. That's why, when we ask for your support, we emphasize the importance of the present moment: "Would you be willing to donate TODAY?"

You don’t want your donor to think, "This is a cause I should support... someday"? When it comes to making a difference, someday is not a day of the week!

For those who could not join us live, we will be organizing another webinar with Tarren Bragdon next Tuesday, March 26th, at 1 p.m. CT. RSVP today here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAudOGuqzIpGNbqWl-gCw1cWaWZufGkA5bt

Great fundraisers don't necessarily have a secret weapon. It's all about the hard work that they do every day, which is focused, targeted, and creates value.

If you want to help your organization grow like Vale Sloane has for over a decade at Atlas Network, you've got to be ready to:

☑️ NEVER be too busy to send an email, to sit down, or to hit the road.
☑️ Cultivate a mindset of creating value for donors.

People won’t give you something for nothing, and they shouldn't. So, if you're not willing to do the work, you won't get the results you want.
