Howdy, DeskCovers!

Since we've been so occupied with making improvements and bug fixes to our software, it's been a while since we issued an update about our progress.

We are happy to report that all of our tests passed, so the upcoming update will be held on Sunday, October 30.

This is the day of the week when, based on historical data, we expect the least amount of traffic to visit our website.

If that day is going to be one in which you use our website. Please hold off till our maintenance is finished.

Although, everyone should get an email about the upcoming update. It would be beneficial to remind your contractors / employees know that the update is coming and to make sure to follow the update instructions.

Full change-log will be provided about the update.

Hi Everyone,

We have been delaying the release of some new features due to blockers in our architecture.
During this period we have invested our time to make the improvements required for the growth of our platform which means more features for our users. Yes!

Update Includes:

- Increased stability/performance on tracker
- Settings to restrict members from deleting timecards
- Settings to restrict members from adding manual time entries
- Tracker Time reset at 12 AM based on the User Profile Timezone
- New prompts for Idle notification and a reminder to start your tracker

Note for macOS Users: Please completely move the previous application to your Trash bin and Empty the trash bin before starting the new version.

What’s Next?

- User Roles - Ability to customize and set different roles, permissions, settings
- Ability to add tasks directly from the tracker.
- Ability to add multiple users to a single task
- Timer will preselect the last task/project tracked.
- Apple Certification - Currently Waiting Verification
- Windows Certification - Currently Waiting Verification

Hello DeskCove family! 📣

We have been listening to your feedback and working with our team to help improve DeskCove for everyone. We have a new version released and includes a few new features along with some improvements.

What's in the Release?

Auto shut off time the tracker if a user is idle. (We originally had this at 1 hour and now customers can make it configurable per member)

Ability to configure to blur/pixelate the monitor screenshots automatically.

Ability to change the team currency from the default $ to anything you want.

Ability to see the Settings Team Owner has configured for your account.
