Believe me, the IRS is watching closely.
If you have falsely claimed the EITC, the IRS can and will penalize you, whether the claim was intentional or a result of an error on your part.
If you worked with a tax pro and they’ve falsely claimed the EITC on your behalf, you’re also responsible. Be informed, the consequences of EITC errors will always fall on you, the taxpayer, whether or not you’re the one who committed the fraud. While the tax preparer may face some tax preparer penalties, you’ll receive the brunt of the punishment. Believe me, the IRS is not playing.

I am taking you to Tax Church this morning because some of you need deliverance.
You need deliverance from some of these posts showing huge refund amounts. Darling your tax situation is like your DNA, exclusive to you. Your tax refund or lack of refund is based on the information you provide and your tax professionals' knowledge of tax laws and legal tax strategies.
Get delivered from running behind big refunds because a big refund does not guarantee your tax return was prepared legally, ethically, and compliantly.
And let the Tax Church say " Amen".

NO, DO NOT FILE USING YOUR LAST PAYSTUB ONLY, AND I DON'T CARE WHO OFFERS THIS, IT'S ILLEGAL. THIS IS NOT UP FOR DEBATE.

I am on vacation but I have to make sure you are doing things legally, ethically, and compliantly when it comes to your taxes.
It's just too much misinformation and scamming going on and someone has to intervene so I guess that's me.

Can You File Taxes Without a W-2, using your last pay stub only?
No, you can’t and YOU should run from any tax business offering this to you.

Understand this:
• Your last paycheck stub is not guaranteed to be an accurate statement of your annual earnings, and it could be missing some information that you need to file a full tax return.
• Filing a tax return that has inaccurate or missing information, you could be required to file an amended return. That could cost you more in tax preparation fees and could increase the amount of time it takes for the IRS to issue a refund.
• The IRS will not accept your electronically filed tax return using a paystub.
• These tax offices that offer this service are not filing your tax return with the IRS, they are submitting your tax return to the bank that will issue you your full or partial tax refund as a loan. Your tax return has not been filed with the IRS. Once you receive your W2 you are to submit it to your tax office for their records.
• Think about this, if the IRS says you need a W2 to file your taxes and you used your last pay stub how could your tax return be filed at the IRS?
• There is a certain date the IRS will allow us tax pros to file your tax return using a Substitute W2 Form 4852 along with your paystub but that is usually in late February not at the beginning of January or February, but in late February.
• Don’t get twisted up in the non-compliant, unethical, illegal tax game

•Get an LLC (limited liability company) come up with a name for company
•Open a business bank account with your bank. Attach it to that LLC
•Choose a room inside of your home as an office.
*A brick and mortar business (like McDonald’s) get tax deductions on the expenses for the building they occupy SO WHY NOT USE YOUR HOME AS A HOME BASED BUSINESS*
•KEEP RECORD OF EVERYTHING (income + expenses)
-A PORTION of Your bills you pay ANYWAY will become tax deductible, depending on what size of the room you use as an office. CONSULT WITH YOUR CPA
CONSULT WITH YOUR CPA
CONSULT WITH YOUR CPA

Example:
Living Room is your office.
It makes up 30% of your entire home.
Your rent is $1000.
30% of that $1000 = $300.
$300 x 12 (months) = $3,600
$3,600 will be deducted from your taxable income when you file taxes

Include: electric bill, water bill, cable/internet, cellphone, mortgage (the interest), car maintenance, miles driven in that car, materials for your business, advertising, etc

Don't let the stress of life take living out of you. I encourage you to call the number on the flyer, and book an appointment. This is the type of man you want to seat with and get the proper counseling you or may somebody you know need to take living your full life back seriously. He is a husband, a father, a man of God, a pastor, a friend and above all a counselor that will help you overcome your life challenges.

Buy a house and get a 15 year fixed mortgage rather than a 30 year mortgage. Saves a lot of money in interest over the life of the loan. If you must get the 30 year mortgage, verify that there is no prepayment penalty. This gives you the flexibility of paying it off early if you are able. But it also gives you the option of making lower payments when times are tough...

When you start your job, get an HSA account and not FSA and get the high deductible health insurance. It will lower your tax bracket and the money is yours to use. You also earn 40% in most cases after 10k!!!
Never buy a car brand new! I’ve watched Escalades go from 100k (new) to 35k four years later.

Get you an LLC (incorporate your name!!) and run it as an S Corp. Remember Jay-Z quote “I’m not a Businessman I’m a Business Maaaaaaaan....” Let that sink in.
Build business credit! The loans are bigger and the interest rate is lower.

Get a business bank account (in most cases this costs around $500 to start). Some people got two stimulus checks (one from Trump and one from the SBA). Also no fees.

Go to Community College first and transfer into a four year college (unless you have scholarships to help mitigate the costs) as a Junior. School is a power move you must be able to secure the bag. Majors in STEM will always be needed, are in high demand and the skills can directly help the black community.

Get with your peers from your graduating class and others together at homecoming on one day for two hours to plot and strategize how we can move our communities forward (commerce, politics, education, small businesses, real estate, etc...)

If you want to support Black People, support Black Business and Black Institutions of Higher Education.

Get life insurance for you and your children (term) as soon as they are born (one thing is for sure is we will die..might as well leave your kids or family something extra). The sooner you get it, the cheaper it is. And you can borrow against it to fund certain projects. Also, the ones that pay out dividends are the best! They normally are associated with the market (money market accounts). IUL’s are great!

Get the people in your immediate family to save collectively! If 10 people save $500/month, that’s 60k every year. You could buy 3 starter homes every year and in 4 years all ten of you are home owners. Buy on the same block or neighborhood if you can...this way you control the value of the homes (remember Monopoly!).

We need to promote financial literacy. Building capital and creating equity to create generational wealth. Having financial freedom is everything! This is not being taught in the school curriculums or our education systems! We must do it ourselves!

***I need 10 people to copy and repost this on their pages and groups and spread financial literacy!
