What is AI, ML,DL and GenAI?

AI serves as the broad, encompassing concept, while ML learns patterns from data, DL leverages deep neural networks for intricate pattern recognition, and Generative AI creates new content.

Artificial Intelligence (AI): is a computational tools and computer system that simulates human intelligence to perform tasks and make decisions.
Example:
- ML as a tool
- mimic human intelligence
- Natural Language Processing
- Chatbots, intelligent assistants

Machine Learning (ML): is subset of AI, a method of designing a sequence of actions that focuses on the using data and algorithms to solve problems which optimize gradually and automatically through experience, imitate the way that humans learn, with limited or no human intervention

- Use statistical and computer mode to provide insights from data

Deep Learning (DL): is a subset of ML, that employs artificial neural networks for processing, analyzing and learning from complex data inputs.
- Highly accurate and adaptable to any data
- Fashioned after the human brain

Generative AI (GenAI): is based on LLM (large language model) and AI system that learns the patterns and structures of their training data and then generate new data that has similar characteristics.
