It is finally public news (after development under a cloak of silence). Michael Stokes has a new TV show on Netflix that is based on music from the Beatles! It will be fun for both kids AND their parents.

Michael wrote three teleplays based on Beatles songs, including the classic "Come Together".

Written and Directed by Michael Stokes, 9th Floor: Quest For The Ancient Relic is about Jimmy Romero, an ex-thief turned adventure-loving 'urban explorer' who delves into abandoned buildings, storm drains, and forgotten tunnels for fun and challenge. Blackmailed by a ruthless tycoon, Jimmy finds himself leading a team into a shattered office tower mere hours before it is to be imploded. Hidden somewhere in the explosive-packed interior is an ancient religious relic spirited out of France during World War II and lost for the last seventy years. The tycoon wants Jimmy to recover it but there are others hunting for the relic as well. Jimmy finds himself in a nine story battle with a sophisticated crew of bandits - all while time counts inexorably down to implosion.

Here is artwork we created for "Reading Between the Lies" program ad in the FringeNYC - The New York International Fringe Festival. RBTL is written by Kelly Barrett, and is produced by Endangered Artist Sanctuary.

UrbanTopaz's Schnele Wilson will direct, and Christopher Romero Wilson plays Joe Daniels, a 1940's Broadway producer that's seen it all!

The show also features Wende O'Reilly, Anna Wallace-Deering, Teri Monahan, Jerry Chapa, Carl Gibson, Kelly Barrett, Omar Prince, Chelsea Clark, and Kurt Roediger.

FringeNYC is the largest multi-arts festival in North America, with more than 200 companies from all over the world performing for 16 days in more than 20 venues.

"For their Fall 2015 Menswear collection presentation, Rag & Bone forwent the traditional runway and instead created a short film featuring iconic ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov and street dancer Lil’ Buck. The film, shot against a white background and directed by Georgie Greville, features an electronic soundtrack by “Venetian Snares”— a mix of slowed down beats and opera music —which results in a vibe that is as bombastic as it is beautiful. The two dancers pause, slow down, and reverse, according to the music, which creates a sort of visual poetry, and allows us to further appreciate the intricacy and the beauty of their movements."
