So you have an idea, now what.

Here is a secret I want to share with you : technology is not a solution it is a tool! A tool which helps you create a vessel. But the most important part is not the vessel , but what is inside. Let it sink.

You can build a glorious website or a magnificent app with an appealing design, but if algorithm does not work or you haven’t defined your customer needs it would not shine.

🤷🏻🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏽‍♀️-Ok, Katya, I got it. We don’t need just the vessel, but how do we test our idea?

💁🏻‍♀️-You actually perform the test using the tools that already exist. Here is how, let technology work for you:
1. You want to survey people. Use 📌Google Forms. It is a simple tool that is attached to your gmail account. Send surveys directly or drop a link in your bio in instagram, post it on your twitter, etc.
2. You need a way to analyse results of the survey: use 📌Google Sheets - export your Google Form answers into Google sheet and you can share it with your business partners, when the new survey is filled it will automatically get into your file where you can read it, sort it out, analyze , add notes, etc.
3. You have collected the information about your customers, categorized it and want to send the answers, customized tips, information back - use 📌Mailchimp. Create several letters for each group of potential customers, add recipients and hit send. Now you can see all the data about the way people interact with what you sent out, open rate, click through rate and if you add action items inside the letter you might get some additional questions, requests.

So here is goes.📌📌📌

🖌Born and raised in Minsk , Belarus , graduated from Belarussian State university with a 5 year degree in Business Administration.

🖌I have experience in manufacturing, sales is audit and project management. I have worked on both sides: as a vendor providing tech service and as a company representative managing vendors. Know the best approaches to manage Eastern European tech vendors and US based tech teams. I know the process inside and out and happy to help my clients when they get stuck.

🖌My husband and our son moved US about 5 years ago and we had. A daughter in 2017. During this time I was working side by side with my husband, who is a fractional CMO mostly managing the tech side of the projects. That grew into a separate business called Your DEVCHEF that was established 3 years ago.

A native vs web app or hybrid app?

Based on our experience, we strongly recommend that you go for native app development, as it offers the most possibilities for customization, facilitation, and optimization. At the same time, native vs hybrid app lowers the risk of the app being banned from the app stores. Therefore, go forward with the native app if you want the greater outcome!

Let’s look at differences between app types through these key implications.

Time to market

The time it takes to develop an app is the shortest for web apps and the longest for native apps, while hybrid apps usually sit in the middle.

Target audience and user experience

if your app needs frequent update – and your audience counts on it – hybrid and web apps will work better than native apps.
On another hand, if you know your audience will need the practicality of downloading an app and accessing it offline, native or hybrid is the way to go.

Features of the app

A huge role in this decision-making process are the key features you want your app to have. First of all, there is a clear distinction between web and hybrid/native from their ability to use device’s native APIs.

Available budget

Native apps are by far the costliest as they require hiring experienced developers and longer time to develop.
If other factors indicate that a web app will be good enough to accomplish your app’s aim, it is a good path budget-wise. If you, however, require stronger performance and device’s native features, but don’t operate with an extremely large budget, hybrid apps will serve as the best choice.

Discoverability

On the contrary, hybrid and native apps live in app stores and can be optimized for search and app store rankings because of descriptions, reviews, screenshots, and more. Web apps are deprived of that opportunity and their distribution heavily relies on classic digital marketing.
