Excited to finally share these dreamy 90s sets we created for our second collaboration with Otherland, featuring their new collection of scents out today. Making these little worlds was such a fun challenge and opportunity to try new materials and finishes 🤗 We’ll be posting a case study on our website soon if you’re curious to learn more about our process!

New work for ***oy ‘The Equality Issue’ in print now! Header image and spots are alongside an article about South LA neighborhoods using eviction and property seizures, based on often thin evidence of gang activity, to displace residents and in a form of government-sponsored gentrification.

For the scene, we created a small-scale Monopoly board to represent the Crenshaw district, filled with handmade storefronts in the area—namely, Nipsey Hustle’s clothing store, Marathon. Each storefront was cut, built and painted in balsa wood, with custom signage added to bring each business to life.

Thanks to the LOVELY team ***oy and AD Regina Rosato 🙏🙏🙏 We truly enjoyed creating this little world and being part of such a talented group of women in this issue. 💪 @ Party Of One Studio

If you’ve ever been curious to see details of our set design process, we put together an in depth case study on the making of a large project from earlier this year for . Looking to retrofuturism, science fiction films and the merging of human and tech, we developed a multi image campaign including art direction, set design, fabrication and retouching of imagery. We are very proud of the work we created and so grateful for the team that helped us on the shoot day! Read more on our site (link in bio ☝️)
