So I know I’ve been MIA but I can finally share - After 9 months of hard labor, long days, sleepless nights, blood, sweat and tears, my t-shirt and sweatshirt babies had their Macy’s Herald Square debut yesterday! I’m so proud and honored to be part of such an incredible design and production team. I work with so many visionaries and have learned so much starting up this collection from scratch back in February. This launch came together just in time and is only the beginning of this wild ride we’re on! Can’t wait for what’s next! @ Macy's - Herald Square, 151 West 34th Street, New York. Nyc.

Hey friends - I’m back after what seemed like the blink of an eye to me but has been over a month - say whaaaaat?⠀⠀
So what’s with the hiatus? I moved!! I’m just finally feeling a little bit settled. Between an insane deadline at my new job and moving across state lines, I am exhausted to say the least. My brain is totally fried but unfortunately, there’s no chance in my schedule for me to rest for another few weeks.⠀⠀
But it’s all exciting things! I’m not sure I’ll be keeping up with Instagram much over the next few weeks until I get my head above water but I hope to sneak a post in here and there as I can until I get into a rhythm with my new schedule. Miss seeing everyone’s faces and awesome projects! If only I could share mine but alas, it’s top secret until it drops in stores this Holiday season!⠀⠀

Some springtime inspiration for your Tuesday.⠀⠀
Today feels like spring in my life - the start of something new. I haven’t posted in a week because if I said I had crazy weeks up until this point, they pale in comparison to last week! Not only did Joe and I sign a lease on our new apartment, but I got a surprise full time job offer from my freelance gig!! And it is an amazing, exciting job and I am just beside myself with relief and gratitude.⠀⠀
Not only do I get to work with my amazing boss and team, but I get to be a part of a brand launch for my company, which is always a lot of hard work but very rewarding, and in my previous fashion DNA.⠀⠀
It’s crazy to me that I’ve been an independent freelance designer for four years! I’m so used to the feeling of uneasiness that work may dry up any day and also the freedom that I can decide my own hours. However, I’m ready for a change, to dedicate my work to something bigger than myself, and I am so happy to be starting a new chapter with a more solid foundation, as of today! I can finally say, after the past three months living out of a suitcase, and eight months of working towards a full time position with this specific company with the intention to move home to NYC...it was ALL worth it. Mission accomplished! 💪😆🌇⠀⠀

Three cheers for four more weeks! Guys - we got an apartment!! Approved today - we’re moving home!!!!⠀⠀
And by home, I mean back to NYC - except that’s only half true because we won’t be NY residents this time - we’re moving to Jersey!!⠀⠀
For the first time in my life, I’ll be living in a totally different state! Now that’s not something I thought I’d ever say - nothing against Jersey, I just always saw us in Westchester.⠀⠀
But we’ll be Jersey residents for now while we get back into our careers, working in Manhattan by day, and taking the train at night to a nice, new apartment 10 mins from the beach.⠀⠀
This summer is going to be insane - for anyone who has known me as a child, I’ve been obsessed with the beach since my first trip to the ocean at age 12. Now I can go every day if I want to! I foresee many bike rides to the beach and lots of time spent with our dearest friends in the NY/NJ area, all of whom we’ve missed so badly.⠀⠀
Now the last thing on the agenda to secure down here is a job for me! I have two weeks left on my freelance gig 😶 - but - I have a feeling there’s going to be some news in the next few days...🤞⠀⠀
Until then, Rochester friends, I’ll be flying back on the first for ten days, then we out! I’ll be messaging each one of you to make plans before I go.⠀⠀

Well friends, it’s been several partial weeks of work until now. It’s always tough after the holidays to get back into the swing of it, and especially tough the first full 5-day work week. Add cold temps and the toughest part of winter still ahead of us and it can feel really impossible to get through to the weekend.⠀⠀
Not to be a Debbie-downer but just stating how I see it. I find it can be so tough to keep a positive outlook and avoid the urge to just stay home curled up in bed all day.⠀⠀
I give props to my creative entrepreneur friends who runs their own business’ from home. Talk about having a tough time being motivated at the office, imagine if you are literally steps away from your bed and couch, with oftentimes only the voice in their head keeping you accountable. I am so inspired by anyone who runs their own business and for sticking with it through these challenging first few months of the new year.⠀⠀
Shoutout to my boss friends who slay at this everyday, specifically the ones who made this beautiful scene happen!! 👆⠀⠀

A wedding favorite - Walnut engraved USB box with botanic logo and hand-lettering to store those priceless videos and photos.⠀⠀⠀
I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years! I snuck away to a cabin in the mountains for a long and much needed rest from work, social media and stress in general. Now that life is back in full throttle, I’m excited to announce that it is official - I am relocating back home to NYC next month!⠀⠀
I’ll be continuing my couch-surfing work/job hunting stay in the city in Jan - returning to Rochester in Feb to pack up the house and say my goodbyes.⠀⠀
I know this last month and a half is going to be a hard one - I had to say goodbye to my husband on New Years Day for the next 5+ weeks apart! 😰 We also have to find an apartment, and I still need to land a full time job. But I’m taking it one day at a time. Let’s hope it flies by so I can stop this living away from him thing. It’s not easy being hundreds of miles away from my best friend and life partner, but thankfully there’s FaceTime!⠀⠀

I found a penny today, a shiny one, staring up at me from the stairs in Port Authority as I sleepily descended into the bustling NYC for work. I couldn’t stop to pick it up because I was in a crowd of commuters filtering down the stairwell, but I knew it was a sign.🍎🗽🌇💕⠀⠀
I know I’ve been a bit mum with news - mostly because there hasn’t been any...until today! I can’t spill specifics just yet but all I can say is, NYC has got me safe in its grasp and I don’t have to cry myself to sleep anymore about having to leave. EVER. ⠀⠀
All my worries about working harder than I ever had to move home? Well, officially fu***ng home, peeps. Christmas came early for me. 😉 The fun is only just beginning!⠀⠀
