Kathe will be joined by Linda Montano, a seminal figure in contemporary feminist performance art and her work since the mid 1960s has been critical in the development of video by, for, and about women. Together they will discuss divination, ceremony, and artistic ritual as a means to alter and enhance the boundaries between life and art. From this perspective, they will explore rites of passage and transition associated with the dramatic figure of “the crone” and focus on the energetic states which accompany them.
