Funnels & Automations aren’t hard.

They also aren’t only for “bro marketers” & “boss babes”.

PRO TIP: Your lead magnet should align with your product/service.

I follow the SACRED “sliced bread” method 🥖, coined by marketing & automation OG Chris L. Davis…. which is the most effective & brilliant approach.

In simple terms,
… If your product/offer is a loaf of bread,
your lead magnet should be a slice of that bread 🍞

aka it should solve a small portion of the overall problem that your leads/prospects are facing & qualify them as well.

For example, if you are a Marriage & Relationship Coach, your lead magnet could be a “Can my Marriage be Saved” Quiz.

This;
1 - Qualifies them as needing Marriage Coaching / Counseling

2 - Eliminates prospects who may not be a good fit (not willing to do the work or the relationship is too far gone)

3 - Solves a small initial problem for the prospect / lead - helps them to figure out if the relationship is worth saving

Next comes the tripwire.

The Tripwire is a low-cost offer made to the leads who signed up for your free magnet.

It could be a low-priced product, trial, or any appealing bargain deal related to your main offer.

Tripwires allow you to separate freebie-seekers from real buyers.

A tripwire helps your leads/prospects get faster/better results than the lead magnet could alone.

Example;
- a 30 minute love language assessment call,
- or a communication style assessment call.

Whether they purchase the tripwire or not, you should drop all of your new leads/prospects into an email nurture sequence.

This is a series of educational emails that provide value & validated your expertise while gradually making the case for your core product/service.

The key is to build credibility & trust.

Sales isn’t about coercion; it’s about connection.

Your job as a “salesperson” is your business is to nurture relationships and build strong know/respect/trust factor.

When crafted well, leads/prospects will be primed and eager to take advantage of your perfect-fit primary offer!

Sprinkle in testimonials, promos, and urgency tactics for some extra motivation to trigger your leads/prospects to take - despite what the naysayers say, they honestly work!

The lead magnet > tripwire > nurture flow allows you to qualify and prepare leads for conversion at maximum profit.
