The inevitable happened and I am a wreck. My dream has always been to create merchandise for Dolly and have her see it but unfortunately now that won’t ever be the case, but that doesn’t mean that I’ll give up on that dream, and one day it will happen, and I know she will be seeing it from up above.

Over the years I have made many illustrations celebrating Dolly, some that I’ve posted and others not but today I felt like sharing them all with you as my way of celebrating her.

She has taught us many things, but above all she taught us that love is truly the only important thing on this earth and that giving is always better than to receive. Her lessons, words and her songs, like many of us, are going to be things that I will carry with me and forever look back on throughout my life. Hopefully they can shape me into a decent human being.

Earlier this year I created this artwork/video to be used as a backdrop for Nina West “Oh, Scary” show in P-Town and today is the last show. Forever grateful to have been part of it and to have my artwork on stage with her. And a big thank you for the recommendation from my talented sister Christian Cimoroni
