As many of you know, my passion these days is all about prioritizing meaningfulness and helping others going through a health journey.
The MOMS partnership with and their campaign was a perfect fit. I didn't know that teens and young adults need 2 different kinds of vaccinations to help protect them against the 5 vaccine-preventable groups of meningitis.
Last week, at the pediatrician’s office, I did and found out that my 17-year-old son Jaron did not receive his meningitis B vaccination yet.
co-founder Patti lost her daughter to meningitis B, and what this mom has done to help educate others since then is truly remarkable. , a meningitis survivor, was a college student when she contracted the disease and had to have her fingers and both legs below the knee amputated... but is sharing her story to help others!
It was wonderful to host the event and take part with Soleil and her daughter Poet, a kind, passionate and beautiful soul and their friend, pediatrician .
There is nothing better than being in-person, connected, catching up and spending time with so many people I haven't seen in years and who continue to support our community and make a difference with all they are doing. Thank you, and moms - don't forget to !
