With the popularity of concierge services like Lyft, Uber, Postmates, Rover, etc it reminds me that this year in particular there are a lot of new
entrepreneurial type tax payers in the mix, most of which who know nothing about the ever changing tax laws, or other important rules governing these industries. I highly recommend finding and working with a tax person you trust. There is huge potential for errors in this new world of on demand service providers and I would hate to see you all get caught up in the mix.

Dont forget to send in your completed 1096 today.

The IRS will not be ready for your 1040 A (itemized deductions) until the middle/end of February. This is due to changes in the some of the tax laws and accompanying forms. The delay is only for the 1040 A, the 1040 EZ should not be effected.
