One of my favorite parts of doing a cover for this Vermont publication is all the messages and photos I receive from my friends and fam in my home state :) Thanks, crew, I like you too!

One more 2025 look-back post for your feed, coming in just when you thought it was safe. 🙃

Developing a limited color palette is a huge part of my process. I love it so much that I sometimes do it just for fun, with no project in mind (.co is my favorite tool for this, along with hoarding paint swatch samples from the hardware store) 🤠 A good palette feels like a cohesive, well-balanced, & satisfying meal. It’s usually one of the very first steps I take when developing something new - once I have a rough sketch down, I go straight to color.

Some projects from 2025 and their palettes in a maybe chronological order, it’s all a blur tbh 🙃 but a happy blur!

A little behind the scenes! Feeling very settled in here in Olympia, WA. I’ve been loving exploring the landscape and getting to know the native species of the PNW.

We arrived near the tail end of summer, so we tried some late-summer and fall gardening. It’s been a fun experiment to throw myself into, I think my thumbs are slowly getting greener 🌱

I’ve also had the chance to connect with fellow artists, and it’s been so inspiring and energizing to create alongside this community.

Best part of using VR for art transfer is that you look so cool doing it 🤡

Pics of using VR goggles to transfer my design onto the wall. Normally, I’d use a projector or a grid method (doodle grid, specifically), but in this space, there wasn’t room for a projector, and I thought VR might be more efficient than gridding - it was!

The mural painting process is challenging yet rewarding and I love it dearly. It’s always a pleasure to spend time in the spaces I paint and leave behind a bright, nature-filled wall that continues living a life of its own. 🌷
