Okay, let's get real for a minute. Some of us, not all, but some, tend to slack on our time with the Lord when things in life are going well. There is no crisis pulling us back to Him, no urgent need driving us to our knees, so our time with the Lord and marinating on His Word slowly slips further down the to-do list.

But from experience, I can tell you the faith that carries you through a hard season is not built during the hard season. It is built in the small, still, quiet moments you intentionally set aside for the Lord despite the season you are in.

With no condemnation and only grace, open your Bible or your Bible app and spend some time with our Father. Let God's Word be the strength your future self is going to need.

There is something that happens when we consistently open God's Word, even if it is only for a few minutes a day. It changes the way we see our circumstances, our people, and ourselves.

On the blog this week, I am sharing ten simple tips to help you read your Bible in ten minutes a day, along with what can shift in your heart as that time with the Lord becomes part of your rhythm.

There is no guilt here for the days you have missed. This is simply an invitation to stay connected to the One who transforms us from the inside out, one small step at a time.

This is one of those verses that is easy to read quickly and move on from, but slow down with this one today. Asking God to search your heart is an honest, vulnerable prayer, and He may show you something you were not expecting to see. That is not Him against you. That is Him leading you somewhere better.

Sit with this one. Pray it slowly, and let it lead you into your Bible today.

Sis, if you are ready to go deeper in your Bible study, the Topical Bible Study Worksheet was made for you. It walks you through questions, word study, definitions, scripture, and a summary section so you can dig into any topic of your choosing verse by verse. This practical faith tool is in my shop and designed for anyone who wants more structure and depth in their time with God's Word.

If you feel like you are falling behind in your walk with God, this one is for you. The good work God started in you was never something you had to finish on your own strength. He is still working, even in the days you forget or don't have time to read your Bible. Let this reminder be the reason to jump back into your time with the Lord. Not guilt, just grace that is already in motion.

Some mornings we skip reading our Bible not because we do not have time but because part of us already knows what convictions we are going to get. Avoidance feels a lot safer than an honest quiet time. But that conversation with the Lord is exactly the one we need, and putting it off never actually makes it easier, it just makes the distance longer.

Today, give Him ten honest minutes. Not a perfect quiet time, not an hour, just ten minutes with an open Bible and an open heart. That is enough for Him to meet you right where you are.

Hebrews 4:12 does not say God's Word might be alive or could be active under the right conditions. It declares that it is alive and active, right now, for you, exactly as you are in this moment.

That means every time you have opened your Bible, even on the days when you did not feel anything, something was still happening. God's Word was doing what only it can do, working in the deep places you cannot even see. You do not have to bring power to it. It already has its own. Your only job has ever been to open it.

Drop a 🙏 in the comments if God's Word has met you somewhere unexpected lately. I would love to hear about it.

Seven days from right now, you could feel completely different about opening your Bible.

Not because everything in your life will have changed, but because you will have done the one thing that feels hardest when you have been away from God's Word for a while. You will have started; and starting, even imperfectly, even in five minute increments, changes something in you. It builds a quiet sense of accomplishment that grows into renewed dedication. It turns a one time restart into the beginning of a real, sustainable habit.

The Free Fresh Start Bible Reading Worksheet was designed to give you exactly that. Seven days, one Psalm at a time, with a simple reflection prompt each day so you never have to figure out what to read or what to do with it. No pressure or catching up. Just one small faithful step each day toward the God who has been waiting for you.

It is completely free on my website. The link is in the comments. Seven days of intent and consistency. That is all it takes to begin again.

We are careful about what we feed our bodies, but how often do we think about what we are feeding our souls? This verse is a direct reminder that God's Word is not a supplement to daily life, it is essential to it. Your soul was designed to be sustained by what comes from the mouth of God, and nothing else fully satisfies what only His Word can fill. Open your Bible today; your soul needs it.

If this verse resonated with you today, leave a 🙏 in the comments or share it with someone who needs this reminder.
