If you get a phone call from Microsoft saying you have a refund coming from something you have purchased, IT IS A SCAM. Don't answer it and if you do don't give them any information. Microsoft will NOT call you.

Just a little note: If you are get a phone call from someone saying they are hired by Microsoft to check your computer hang up the phone immediately. MICROSOFT WILL NOT CALL YOU and will not have anyone else call representing MICROSOFT. This is a scam, don't let them in your system. If you have any question about this please feel free to call ME. No worries it will still work, but it will not have the Security Updates that come out and Microsoft Security Essentials will quit working supposedly. So if you need anything fixed we can help with your problems, also there is a New Virus that I have come across and it is called ANTIVIRUS SECURITY PRO this Virus will not let you do anything on your computer.SO if you see this on your computer give us a call and we can get rid of that Virus that is keeping you from your work or PLAY. This last post DOESN"T mean Windows XP is going to quit working. It will still work they just aren't putting updates out anymore. Just make sure you have really good Anti Virus Software like AVG and you should be fine. It is a good idea to update but it is not MANADATORY. What is Windows XP end of support?
Microsoft has provided support for Windows XP for the past 12 years. But now the time has come for us, along with our hardware and software partners, to invest our resources toward supporting more recent technologies so that we can continue to deliver great new experiences.

As a result, after April 8, 2014, technical assistance for Windows XP will no longer be available, including automatic updates that help protect your PC. Microsoft will also stop providing Microsoft Security Essentials for download on Windows XP on this date. (If you already have Microsoft Security Essentials installed, you will continue to receive anti-malware signature updates for a limited time, but this does not mean that your PC will be secure because Microsoft will no longer be providing security updates to protect your PC.)

If you continue to use Windows XP after support ends, your computer will still work but it might become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses. Also, as more software and hardware manufacturers continue to optimize for more recent versions of Windows, you can expect to encounter greater numbers of apps and devices that do not work with Windows XP.

Good Wednesday Morning everyone just thought I would give a little info for all my followers, great customers and everyone else that loves to read Facebook :). If you get an EMAIL from PP&L which is Pacific Power and Light out of Portland, OR do not click on any links in the email and it is just best to DELETE the Email. I have had 2 customers already that have got the email and one called PP&L and they said their system got hacked or something so this is an EMAIL SCAM. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call and we will help you any way we can. Also, keep your virus programs updated the viruses are still around and getting nasty. Hope everyone has a GREAT day.
