The painting, “Nature’s Christmas” is inspired by the children’s Christmas book, “Night Tree” by Eve Bunting. As a child, I grew up being surrounded by trees with lots of land. Every Christmas Eve we would gather, and after reading the Christmas story from The Bible, we would read “Night Tree” as our bedtime story. This was a magical moment that I looked forward to every Christmas and is something that I look forward to doing with my family one day. Everyone needs a little Christmas tree, even the little woodland critters to enjoy a “Nature’s Christmas”.
