Taking a moment this morning to appreciate the progress I've made in my artistic creativity and technique rehab over the last 3ish years. In 2020 LC took a lot of those abilities. In 2023 I decided to take them back.

After my 2nd C19 infection in June 2023 I was in a pretty bad way and had little energy to do more than shower, eat, lay on the couch on most days. So I got an iPad and installed Procreate on it so I could work while laying down. It was therapeutic in a lot of ways.

Eventually I got stabile enough artistically and physically to handle sitting at my workstation for about an hour at a time to work on something. If it got too much I'd just go back to the iPad and do something on that instead.

With time I found a decent workflow between the iPad with Procreate and my workstation. Eventually I was able to throw in other medium (pencil drawings, scanned media, etc) back into my work.

Now at about 3 years later the results of all the work I've put in I think speak for themselves. I'm still working on my artistic skills but that's how it always should be. Overall I'm really proud of myself for getting to this point.

Another old piece from the HD file recovery. This one from 2002. No reference to a title and I can't remember if I even gave it one. Can't even remember what I did this for. Pretty sure this was one of the first piece I did in PhotoShop.
