Last year, Colby College came to Hyphenate looking to develop their first-year experience concept for incoming students. They needed brand strategy and identity, web design, messaging strategy, collateral design, marketing and communication β and we accepted the challenge.
We evaluated their conceptual and organizational challenges and, in an expedited 3-month timeline, worked with key stakeholders in Student Life, Residential Life, and The Pugh Center of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, to develop a concept that would unify all the goals that each unit needed.
The project scope also included:
- main Colby Trail logo
- color palette
- fonts
- taglines for overall Colby Trail concept, First Year Journey, and Second Year Journey
- customized digital marketing content calendar + database
- email communication
- Colby Trail social media strategy
- content creation + graphic design
- hashtag research
- engagement and analytics
After three months, Colby College was fully equipped for their first-year students to embark on The Colby Trail.
