When you pour your heart and soul into a project make sure the printing holds up to your dreams.
Mark Rubin recently generously gave me a tour of Brilliant Graphics (a Royercommprism company). The quality of the print work made me remember why I do this. I almost cried at how beautiful it was. Ink coverage and detail crisp, clear with depth and amazing tonal range. This was practically a religious experience for me.
1500 dpi line screens, 6 color presses with the most advanced calibration and monitoring quality live.
And for smaller runs? Specialty digital printing that's better quality than I have seen anywhere else.
When you pour your heart and soul into a project make sure the printing holds up to your dreams.
Did I mention they do work for MOMA?
I'll be using them on some upcoming book projects, can't wait to show you!
In the meantime - here a few bad cell phone pictures that I hope give you a peak at their work. More to come because Mark was generous with samples... probably so I would close my hanging jaw and leave!
Thanks again to Eric Schwartz, for arranging this, and to Mark Rubin for the tour. It's a level of personal dedication to quality and relationships that is rarely seen anymore.
