A mural that truly needs 20(+) images! Wasn’t exaggerating that I had to take a minute to lay this out! (Let alone how I’m going to put it up on Behance!)

Truly and immensely honored (xMillion!) to have worked with fantastical Bri and her team at Live Nation. I’ll say it many times over, and each time it’s still wild to even think about!! 🤯🙏🙏😭 Thank you!

A musical timeline of the incredible history of impactful music born in Philly. From the 50s to today with architecture inside The MET and around Philly - an absolute blast to design and create!!

Immediately after Bri sent the vision and direction, I sketched out the first idea (of 10!) that ultimately ended up being our base concept! Check out a full view on slide 3 and 4! Complete with my note scribblings.

Even putting this together to post up… haven’t truly comprehended how huge it is. Length, height, everything. I am super super excited to head over to The MET Philly to see it live in all its glory! 💯✨😭🥹💖💕

It’s Football TIME! And *this* time I’m here even earlier! Usually, it’s bundle-up-weather—October, November, December—but the sun is shining brightly! ☀️🏈 How incredibly amazing is it that it’s YEAR FOUR!!! of the Pittsburgh Steelers & Commonwealth Press Gameday Poster Series! And, even more so honored to have been a part of each each year – with a bonus poster last season! 🤯

Had a blast creating the 2024 Season Poster. Lots of fun ‘characters/mascots’ to work with—crafting a little mini Multiverse 😁

Much and very many thank you’s and gratitude to everyone at the Pittsburgh Steelers!! You all are fantastical! 💪🙏 As well as Commonwealth Press—Dan & Kim are an amazing dynamic duo!!! Thee BEST! 💯 Forever humbled and grateful for this team up!

IT'S GAME DAY!!!! OMG! Guys! It's the third year that I have been just incredibly and humbly honored to work with Commonwealth Press & the Pittsburgh Steelers! 🥹😭🖤💛💖💖💖🥰🏈🙏💪🙏🙏🙏🙏✊😭😭😭💖 

And so happy it am part of this again, especially to be able to work on the Crucial Catch Poster again. Such an amazing cause that I am so grateful to be a small part of in multiple avenues of my life.!!!🎗🎗💖💖💖

There are also some little hidden messages and easter eggs in here (like my name 😁 – and the 6 rings (in a couple of different ways)) 🕵🏻‍♀️

I continually am just so filled with joy and happiness and forever thankful to CW & the Steelers for these opportunities! It's bringing together so many different passions in my life – illustration, creativity, sports, much-needed awareness for causes, and more!

Another fantastical experience and time with CW that I’m so very grateful and thankful that I was able to join in again this year - especially with highlighting the Crucial Catch!!! And what a weekend to pair it with the amazing Women Who Rock benefit concert for Magee-Womens Health!!

I definitely gotta post all this up (and last years 😅😅😬😬 still) on my site/Behance! Because to process part is so much fun!! I loved that I got to swap in women this year, and get some fight in! 💪💪💪💪 💖💖🤯

Huge thank you for the millionth plus time to the absolutely incredible Melinda, Brianne, and the entire Women Who Rock Crew! I’m so honored and just in awe to be part of this amazing and much needed cause to support Women’s Health Research at Magee. Blown away by everything they do all and more - especially hearing from survivors and those impacted last night.

What started off as a freelance project with Stage AE, sparked a Facebook message from Melinda, and now 3 concert posters, shirts, and (Plus Beer Can design, album covers for her amazing band, Melinda + the Night Sky) and more! I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity!! And more proud to be a part of WWR!

Check out last nights poster illustration (with Huny, Tiny Wars, Emily Wolfe, and Jordin Sparks!) plus their first LA concert poster design earlier this year, and last years 2021 poster (plus my Stage AE poster!)

Finally… last couple of the Weirdtober series. I want to do more couples, but I think it’ll take me to 2099 to get them completed in-between freelance, work, life 😁😬

I loved WandaVision so much – so fun, weird and different – like comic books! Chose the most quoted quote from it, aside from Agatha’s song 😅 And, I loooooooooooove Wanda’s new costume. Finally. All of the actual costumes for her before were 🙅🏻‍♀️

For weeks, I wanted to do a cool gif of all the decades of WandaVision—that’ll have to definitely be a revisiting Weirdtober project in the future, because totally want to do it. The smallest homage I could do was all the glitching, plus the black & white version 😊📺

LIke Hawkeyes’ illustration, I did the whole pencil sketch version instead of the ink one on this, too – though a lot less shading and highlighting. But I dig the variations in this entire series. Some more realistic, some more classic comic style coloring. Testing out stuff and figuring out processes, always a bonus 😊

5 more to go…until the endgame. Until Weirdtober Freedom [I say this with love because I truly love this series. It’s one of the reasons I’ve been so busy! Lots of great gigs from amazing people from it! 💖💖]

Tonight’s the night for Monday Night Football –  vs the Bears! And, the night to get your exclusive, beautifully printed 18x24 poster by the masterful team –  & –  at ’s [while supplies last – T-minus 200! [$25/ea]. 🗣📣

Alright – let’s rewind for a sec…

The morning was bright – I believe so, it had to be because it was July 12th before 11am. I see something saying something about something in my email and I clicked to delete it. I didn’t read it – but I was pretty sure it was a newsletter thing that I should unsubscribe to. Then I was like the Kombucha girl and had a moment of ‘well? wait. no. well. What did it say?’

And then like, Captain Holt in Brooklyn-99 [listen, it’s easier if I use pop culture in my posts so you can get a gist of my tone😅] – “HOT DAMN!” – The amazing Dan Rugh and fantastical Kim Fox had come with an excellently awesome series for the Steelers – Pittsburgh Steeler’s Gameday Poster Series in collaboration with Commonwealth Press! Man’o’man, what a crazy cool project to be a part of – especially with the likes of 8 other incredibly talented local Pittsburgh artists 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 And, like TAL-EN-TED-LASSO, talented. 👨🏻💯💯💯 Definitely was in awe of the team Dan & Kim assembled. ✊

Fast-toward to 10 concepts sent at the last second 😅 to a blitz final illustration week to many weeks waiting in anticipation to then being photographed by the amazing, Matt Dayak , to now! 😊

Weirdtober 025/031: Hawkeye and Hawkeye – aka Kate Bishop & Clint Barton 🏹🏹 – “Clint Barton, Clint Barton. What kind of Hell have you gotten us into...?” 🏹🏹

“Almost 2 months Later…” 🙃

I didn’t want to do any of the newer characters yet for the final endgame here, buuttttututututuututututButututuuttttttt – I’ve been a big fan of Kate Bishop, so that’s that.🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve made a pact with myself that this will be the *second-last* double-illustration for the rest of this “Weirdtober-October-2020” set. Only allowing 1 more double, or should I say, ‘couple’, for the next Weridtober post so I can finally finish this. After this – as much as I want to do some team-ups… that’ll be for the next series. 😊 So don’t fret if you don’t see your favorite nerdy-geeky-super-hero, I still have a long list and there’s a’many’a’more days, months… let’s be serious… years… ahead 😬

This time around I also cut a corner – normally I sketch out the heroes at least once, sometimes twice, using a faux-pencil in Procreate, then I go back an ‘ink’ ‘em. Instead, I kind of 😅 cleaned up my pencil sketch and left it as is. I might keep this up for the rest of these because it saved me a hell-of-a-time. But maybe I’ll clean it up better…

It also helped doing it that way since I started off a month or two ago with a completely different layout/reference, but then the new poster came out for the Hawkeye series, and I was like - “…here we go again”- GTA Gif. [I did sneak in the comic-style hearing aids for Clint tho] 💯😎

I’m also gonna break my rule of not posting anything else except for this Weirdtober Series – in the next post I do 😅🤷🏻‍♀️
