With the transition to work from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Internet scans have shown that more than ever, organizations are exposing their computers to attacks over the Internet by "port forwarding" Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). Any connected computer or server with Remote Desktop exposed directly to the Internet is a huge security risk. The general rule of network security is only to expose to the internet what is absolutely necessary.
