Being a graphic designer I love creating images or items that educate or help in some way.

One creative item I love to design is Memorial programs for those whom have passed recently. From my own experience I saw what funeral homes create and I was sadden to see how impersonal these are. (Usually in BW and just has a poem and photo of the decreased.)

I have decided to design personalize memorial programs using photos that the family wishes to use, what the person loved to do/passions which create the theme of the program - and anything else the family/friends wish to express.

I have designed a few of these programs and have to say it’s an honor in learning who the deceased is and honoring their spirit.
