The bf told me that I need to relax and stop worrying about life stuff today (oops)…so I spent the day learning how to use a vintage sewing machine, painting plant hangers, making pompoms and doing another lovely tutorial. Productive but I think still a pretty relaxing day all in all!

Somehow it’s still March and yet it’s also now October? And today was a month long? I’m so confused and time has absolutely no meaning anymore, but I HEAR that it’s season out in the world. Frankly, it’s so easy to want to crawl under the covers and never come back out, but we’re stronger than that, and I refuse to let these authoritarian as****es take away the good things we’ve all worked for. I’ve been super creatively blocked and overwhelmed with -everything- for the last 2(5?) months. I have about 20 pieces that I’ve started and almost finished, or sketched out, or in some other state of half completion...but I’m hoping with this week of actual, grownup vacation time that I’m taking this week I’ll get to reset my brain and creativity a little bit. Starting it off by finishing this piece from last month...wish me luck on this journey!

H is for *omg for the love of god, people PLEASE STAY HOME!*

I’m tired, anxious, and grumpy at the people crowding the beach and hiking trails and parks and having people over. Stocking up on food and staying home is totally negated by doing this, the whole point is to go 2ish weeks socially isolated (or as minimal interaction as possible) to cut down on the rapid spread of this damn Coronavirus. Please, do it because if Italy and China are any indication, s**t is gonna get real real and we need to do everything we can to lessen that 😩
