I will be making syrup this week with locally sourced ingredients from Grant & Crawford counties!

Pickups will be in Grant, Crawford, and Sauk County!

New Name!!

You may be wondering…. Why Black Velvet??

Well, meet Velvet our 3 year old cat that rules the roost around here. Velvet I got from a dairy farm in southeast Wisconsin from a friend. She’s a little spunky and a whole lot fluffy two of my favorite traits in animals.

Now the homestead part… living in town I am limited to space and resources but we have chickens and a growing garden that I tend to. I’ve picked up on many hobbies over the last few years and never would I consider myself a “homesteader” but my hobbies say otherwise from canning to sourdough to raising chickens. One day I hope I can have so much more on much more land but for now I enjoy what I can do in the space I have!
