Okay, I've been studying junk journal kits, where you basically get a pdf, and/or loads of image files. They're gorgeous. The PDF format is easier to print and cut for most paper crafters, I'm sure. Anyway, as I was studying, I purchased 2 (linked and pictured here).
The baby woodland animal kit came with loads and loads of jpgs. Not individual elements, but several elements to a jpg page. I was floored by how many journal tags, animals, tickets, washi tape... just so so much. I was me, so I was a little sad that it didn't have just the plain background pages. All the pages were pre-layered, looking pre-scrapped so they didn't need anything to be added to them. But they matched the theme well, and they were A+ gorgeous. It just was not the raw ingredients I was hoping for. However, I still think the set was way underpriced for the amount of goodies in it. AMAZING. And gorgeous clipart. Loads of it; none of it loose though. Great purchase. It does not include instructions on how to make a journal but if you're sitting down to make journals or cards it has loads in it.
The butterfly junk journal set: Okay, you buy this and you sort of have a pattern to make a whole junk journal just from cardstock. Like it is pre-printed in the purple butterfly theme, but it would be easy, well, for me, to just put different prints on those shapes and create any junk journal theme I want. This creator went above and beyond by creating a tutorial and the transparency here is phenomenal. She shows every page. She shows every step. And you actually end up with a junk journal that looks like the preview pictures. Just gorgeous. I am very excited to print this one and get started. I learned from the tutorial how to make a waterfall effect and that I should invest in some tools if I'm going to paper craft. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3KiZH2LFp8
Could you give me some thoughts on what you think of pdf print files? Not necessarily craft projects like this butterfly journal, but just huge pdfs with background and elements to just print and cut. Should I offer those?
